At first glance, the first picture of the NASA James Webb space telescope might not look extraordinary.

But in reality, what looks like small spots in space is actually a galaxy – billions of years.

“If you hold a sand on the tip of your finger with the length of the arm, it is part of the universe that you see – only a small speck of the universe,” Nasa Bill Nelson administrator said about the picture on Monday.

And more than that, what was taken in this picture was the first few galaxies formed in the universe. More images captured by James Webb’s space telescope must be able to reveal which galaxies are long distances, long distances, said Nelson.

The White House, together with NASA, revealed the first series of pictures from the telescope since it was launched from Earth more than six months ago.

President Biden said that it revealed Monday as “Historical Day.”

NASA has planned to release today’s picture as part of a collection of the first scientific results but determines the picture so dramatically that Biden must be the person who reveals it to the world.

Telescope James Webb Nasa worth $ 10 billion is the most sophisticated observatory ever launched. It left the earth last December. At the end of January, he reached a heavenly parking lot one million miles away from this planet. Since then, the engineers have checked the instrument, aligning the mirror and letting the telescope become cold so that the instrument will work well.

“Webb was built to find the first generation of galaxies formed after the Big Bang,” said Jane Rigby, an operating project scientist for a telescope. “That is the purpose of the core science that was built to be done.”

Before declaring a telescope open to business mission managers want to make what they call the initial release observations. This is intended to show that the telescope works, and as Rigby said, “intended to be very beautiful, strong both visually and scientifically.”

In addition to the picture containing the earliest galaxy ever seen, NASA will also release a star nursery image in which the star shape called Carina Nebula, Southern Nebula Ring, and a group of galaxies found in 1787 called Stephan’s Quintet. There will also be a light analysis originating from a giant planet that orbits outside our solar system with the usual name WASP-96B. The additional images are expected to come out on Tuesday morning.
